An astrologer in Wolverhampton is most often wanted for one of two things: matching horoscopes before a marriage, or making sense of a turning point in life. Karmic Keran offers both as online Vedic sessions over Google Meet or WhatsApp, so families in Penn, Tettenhall, Bilston, Wednesfield or anywhere across the Black Country can book without travelling.

If a proposal is already on the table and you want the two charts looked at properly, send your question with both sets of birth details and I will suggest the right session.

Kundli matching with an astrologer in Wolverhampton, step by step

Kundli matching, also called gun milan, compares the birth charts of two people before marriage. It is widely used by Hindu families and by many Sikh and mixed-tradition families in the West Midlands, though by no means all. Understanding how it works helps you read a result calmly rather than treating a number as a verdict.

The eight kootas and the 36 points

The traditional system, Ashtakoota, scores compatibility across eight factors drawn mainly from the two Moon signs and birth nakshatras. Together they add up to 36 points.

Varna (1 point): temperament and approach to duty.
Vashya (2): mutual influence and attraction.
Tara (3): the relationship between the two birth stars.
Yoni (4): instinctive and physical compatibility.
Graha Maitri (5): friendship between the rulers of the Moon signs.
Gana (6): basic nature, described as divine, human or fierce.
Bhakoot (7): the distance between the two Moon signs.
Nadi (8): traditionally linked with family continuity.

Why the total is a starting point, not a verdict

A score of 18 or more is commonly treated as acceptable, but the number alone hides a great deal. Two couples on 24 points can have very different charts, and a low score in one koota may be cancelled by other factors the classical texts describe. A careful match always looks beyond the arithmetic. The guide to kundli matching for UK families explains these exceptions in more detail.

Checking for Mangal dosha

Alongside the 36 points, families often ask whether either person is manglik, meaning Mars sits in certain houses of the chart. The condition is extremely common and is frequently balanced by the other partner's chart or by cancelling factors. It is something to understand, not something to fear.

Beyond the score: how two people actually relate

Gun milan was designed for arranged introductions, when families needed a quick compatibility check. Many couples today have already met, and their question is different: how do we communicate, where will we clash, and what do we each need? That is where a fuller comparison helps.

The Compatibility Reading is a 30-minute session that compares both charts for strengths, challenges and communication styles. It works for love and for business partnerships, which suits families in Wolverhampton who run shops, practices or trades together.

A note for Sikh and mixed-tradition families

Sikh teaching does not require horoscope matching for an Anand Karaj, and many Sikh families do not use astrology at all. Others, often where one side of the family has Hindu roots or where grandparents follow older customs, still like to see the charts compared. Both positions deserve respect. If you are asking for a reading in this situation, I will keep to what you want to know and will never suggest that a marriage cannot go ahead because of a chart.

Your own chart: the In-Depth Reading

Sometimes the real question sits behind the matching: am I ready, is this the right period of my life, what pattern keeps repeating? The In-Depth Reading is a 60-minute, one-to-one session that looks at your own Vedic chart for long-term guidance on relationships, career or personal growth.

What we cover in the hour

Your ascendant, Moon sign and nakshatra, the foundations of your chart.
The 7th house and its ruler, which describe partnership, along with Venus.
Your current dasha, the planetary period that colours this stage of life.
Your own questions, followed by timing for the months ahead.

Choosing the wedding date afterwards

Once a match is agreed, the next question is usually when. The Magic of Lucky Dates & Times session finds an auspicious date and time for the ceremony, working around practical limits such as venue and family availability.

Preparing for an online session from the Black Country

Whether you live near the city centre or out towards Willenhall or Sedgley, the preparation is the same. Working with an astrologer in Wolverhampton online simply means the paperwork moves by message instead of by hand, so it is worth gathering everything before you book.

Collect the date, time and place of birth for everyone whose chart will be read.
For births in Punjab or elsewhere in India, give the nearest town and the local clock time.
If parents will join the call, agree beforehand what you most want to ask.
Choose a quiet room. Matching conversations can be personal.

If you live nearer Birmingham, my page for readers in Birmingham covers the same online sessions from a different angle.

Frequently asked questions

Is online kundli matching as reliable as visiting a pandit?

The calculation depends only on accurate birth details, so it is the same online or in person. The difference lies in how thoroughly the charts are read beyond the score.

What if one person does not know their birth time?

The Ashtakoota points depend on the Moon's sign and nakshatra, so a date and place often suffice, unless the Moon changed nakshatra on that day. Some factors, such as Mangal dosha, need a time and will be treated with caution.

Do you recommend remedies for a low score?

No. I explain what the charts show and what classical exceptions apply. I do not sell rituals or promise that anything will change an outcome.

Can you help when the two families see the match differently?

I can explain clearly what each chart shows and where traditional rules are being applied too strictly. That shared understanding can make the family conversation easier, though the decision always rests with the couple and their families.

When you are ready, book the session that fits, or send your question through the enquiry form with both sets of birth details. I will reply with a clear suggestion for the next step.
