The Scorpio horoscope for 2027 builds slowly and finishes strongly. Saturn in your sixth house spends the year reshaping work routines, Jupiter supports career ambitions until 26 July 2027 before turning to friendships and long-term goals, and from September a cluster of planets gathers in Scorpio itself, including Mercury's October retrograde.

The shape of Scorpio's year

Four slow movements set the tone for 2027 (all dates UK time):

Saturn and Neptune in Aries, your sixth house, all year: work, habits and daily responsibilities.
Jupiter in Leo, your tenth house, until 26 July 2027, then in Virgo, your eleventh: career first, community and future goals second.
The lunar nodes across Aquarius and Leo, your fourth and tenth houses: an ongoing balancing act between home and public life.
Uranus in Gemini, your eighth house, all year: shared arrangements and close emotional bonds stay open to sudden change, so flexibility helps.

Saturn in your sixth house: rebuilding the working week

The sixth house governs the practical texture of life: tasks, schedules, colleagues and the habits that keep everything running. Saturn here asks for structure. Overloaded diaries, unclear roles or routines that no longer serve you are likely to come under review, and the reward for sorting them out is a calmer, more sustainable rhythm. Mars, your traditional ruler, also rules Aries, which ties this Saturn transit closely to your own sense of drive.

Neptune in the same house can blur boundaries at work, so agreeing clear expectations in writing is wise. Saturn turns retrograde on 9 August 2027 and direct on 24 December 2027, a stretch well suited to reviewing what has changed since Saturn settled into Aries in February 2026.

Practical ways to work with this Saturn

Pick one routine to rebuild at a time. Delegate where you can. Treat commitments as promises you can actually keep, and let go of tasks that only exist out of habit.

Career, reputation and the Aquarius–Leo eclipses

Jupiter in your tenth house is traditionally one of the more encouraging career signatures. It begins 2027 retrograde, turns direct on 13 April 2027 and stays in Leo until 26 July 2027, so spring and early summer are well suited to stepping forward professionally. Mars spends 10 January to 1 April 2027 retrograde, moving from your eleventh house back into your tenth, so early-year career plans may need revision before they gain speed.

The total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027 falls in your tenth house too, often marking a new chapter in public life. Its counterpart, the annular eclipse of 6 February 2027, lands in Aquarius, your fourth house of home and roots, where Pluto, your modern ruler, also travels. Pluto is retrograde from 8 May to 18 October 2027, deepening questions about family, belonging and emotional security. From 26 July 2027, Jupiter in Virgo shifts the emphasis to your eleventh house: friendships, networks and the goals you want to reach in the next few years.

Autumn 2027: planets gather in Scorpio

From September, your sign becomes busy. Mars enters Scorpio on 2 September and stays until 16 October 2027, bringing energy and determination. Mercury arrives on 27 September, turns retrograde at almost 5 degrees of Scorpio on 7 October, slips back into Libra on 16 October and turns direct on 28 October 2027. Venus passes through Scorpio from 8 October to 1 November 2027, and the Sun enters your sign on 23 October 2027.

If your birthday falls in late October

Mercury's retrograde covers the first five degrees of Scorpio, so those born between about 23 and 28 October may feel its review energy most personally. Mercury returns to Scorpio on 10 November 2027 and moves on smoothly from there.

Vrischika Moon: the Vedic picture

Jyotish judges transits from the Moon sign, using sidereal positions. For a Vrischika Moon, sidereal Saturn moves from Pisces, your fifth, into Aries, your sixth, on 3 June 2027. Saturn in the sixth from the Moon is traditionally among its most supportive positions, associated with overcoming obstacles through steady effort. It returns to Pisces on 20 October 2027. Sidereal Jupiter re-enters Leo, your tenth, on 26 June 2027 and Virgo, your eleventh, on 26 November 2027, echoing the Western career theme. Rahu stays in Capricorn and Ketu in Cancer all year.
