Aries season 2027 starts at the spring equinox, when the Sun enters Aries at about 8.24pm GMT on Saturday 20 March, and ends at about 8.17am BST on Tuesday 20 April. This year the Sun shares Aries with Saturn and Neptune, so the usual burst of new-start energy comes with an unusual call for patience and responsibility.

Why Aries season 2027 feels weightier than usual

Saturn has been in Aries since February 2026 and stays until April 2028; Neptune has been there since January 2026 and remains for many years. When the Sun joins them, the Aries instinct to begin is filtered through Saturn's demand for commitment and Neptune's search for meaning. Starts that are well prepared tend to last; impulsive ones are more likely to be tested.

The Sun meets Saturn on 7 April

This annual conjunction is a natural checkpoint. Ask what you are prepared to take responsibility for over the next year, then commit to one realistic step. The New Moon in Aries the same day reinforces the theme of beginning carefully.

A Saturn return for those born 1996 to 1999

If you were born between early April 1996 and early June 1998, or between late October 1998 and late February 1999, Saturn was in Aries at your birth, so 2026 to 2028 brings your first Saturn return. Our guide to the Saturn return in your late twenties explains how to work with it.

How Aries season 2027 meets your sign

Astrology groups signs by the angle they make to the Sun's sign. Here is what that means this spring.

Aries: the Sun returns to you

Happy birthday season. With Saturn and Neptune also in your sign, this is less about reinvention and more about deciding who you want to be for the long haul. Choose one priority and give it your full effort.

Signs in easy contact: Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini and Aquarius

Leo

Study, travel and your wider beliefs inspire you, and both Mars and Jupiter turn direct in your sign within two weeks. Plans stalled since the winter can move again.

Sagittarius

Creativity, romance and play are emphasised. Saturn's presence in this part of your chart rewards creative discipline: practise the thing you love, not just the thrill of starting it.

Gemini

Friendships and group plans are lively. Choose collaborators who follow through, and be the person who does too. With Uranus in your sign, let new contacts prove themselves before you rely on them.

Aquarius

Conversations, learning and local life speed up. Saturn in your communication sector asks you to say less, more precisely.

Signs meeting a challenge: Cancer, Libra and Capricorn

Cancer

Career and public responsibility are under the spotlight. Take on what you can sustain rather than what looks impressive; Saturn at the top of your solar chart rewards steady, visible effort.

Libra

Your opposite sign is lit up, and the Full Moon in Libra on 22 March brings a relationship question into focus. Fairness, not compromise at any cost, is the aim.

Capricorn

Home and family foundations need attention, and the Sun meets your ruler, Saturn, on 7 April. A practical home decision may become clearer around then.

Neighbouring signs: Pisces and Taurus

Pisces

After your birthday season, attention turns to values and self-worth, and Venus arrives in your sign on 26 March, bringing warmth to how you treat yourself.

Taurus

This is your quieter month before your birthday. Rest, reflect and let unfinished matters close gently. Venus, your ruler, moves through Pisces from 26 March, drawing you towards kind, low-key company rather than crowds.

Signs at an angle: Virgo and Scorpio

Virgo

Trust, intimacy and what you share with others need honest conversation. Mars, recently retrograde in your sign, has left lessons worth applying.

Scorpio

Work routines and daily habits are emphasised. Mars, your traditional ruler, turns direct on 1 April, helping stalled tasks restart.
